Coachella Valley Parties 2024: The Desert’s Hottest Festival Weekend Events

If you’re a regular Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival attendee, you’re probably well aware by now that there’s much more to it than just the festival. The dozens of unofficial parties that occur each April have pretty much become their own unique culture. These parties give festivalgoers yet another good reason to flock to the Coachella Valley and experience the range of live performances, brand activations, mini festivals, and more.

Many also attend the events without even having a ticket to the festival. (My friends and I were once interviewed by MTV about the burgeoning trend of ticket-less, party hopping… lol.) Needless to say, there’s a lot to experience outside of the polo fields. And each year the parties get bigger, better, and wristbands become harder to snag.

How to Get into Coachella Weekend Parties?

Some of these Coachella weekend party invites are nearly impossible to get, while other events are open to the public. So what’s the secret to maximizing your chances of attending these desert festivities?

  • RSVP to get your name on the list for events you’d like to attend
  • Set your socials to public as some organizers review them for approval
  • Arrive early since they often reach capacity quickly
  • Dress to impress to fit in with the desert glam vibes
  • Bring good energy and be nice!

As the season rapidly approaches, here’s a look at our guide for the best parties in the Coachella Valley to give you an idea of what to expect for 2024. Information on 2024 events will be updated as soon as it becomes available.

Note: Events listed are operated by independent organizers and have no affiliation with or connection to the Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival.
