This underground hot spot is known for its ceiling of dazzling disco balls hanging over the spacious dancefloor. Located in the basement of The West Hollywood EDITION hotel, this nightclub was conceived by Studio 54’s Ian Schrager and gives partygoers plenty of space for drinking, lounging and dancing. Unlike some of its LA nightclub counterparts, Sunset at EDITION doesn’t prioritize bottle service (though it is an option). Grab a drink at the bar, have a conversation in the back lounge, or even play a game of pool. Talented disco and house DJs are always around to deliver truly dance-worthy sets, making this place a breath of fresh air in the Los Angeles nightclub scene.
Sunset at EDITION Details:
No food here, but Guisados nearby is open until 3am on weekends.
Drinks aren’t usually the focus of nightclubs, but Sunset at EDITION puts in the effort for quality imbibing. The “Ipso Facto” is a coconut lime and vodka dream. The “I Don’t Know Her” mixes mezcal, blueberry and jalapeno (yes, you read that right) for one-of-a-kind flavor.
You’re pretty much guaranteed good music here. Local DJs and even international superstars perform in the intimate space playing upbeat sets of dance, house, disco, and hip hop. Stop by on Thursdays if deep house is your thing.
The energy is unlike other Los Angeles nightclubs–lots of mixing and mingling without the pretension. Also, one of the few clubs offering plenty of space for dancing, which draws a crowd of energetic patrons. The variety of areas to interact brings in a diverse crowd made up of friendly trendsetters. Dim lighting with neon accents and a modern, industrial design give an East Coast feel to the space.
📸 Photo Ops:
Do I have to even say it? The ceiling of 300 disco balls illuminated by neon lights is unlike anything you’ve ever seen!
