🥙 The former space of La Mesa Lounge in Hollywood will be the new home to restaurant Laya. Opening on July 2nd, the menu by a Top Chef winner will mix Eastern Mediterranean and California influences in an al fresco environment.

💎 Citizen News Events has just opened event venue The Brownstone in the former location of Beauty & Essex. The sophisticated Hollywood space has been brought to life by hospitality veterans Giancarlo Pagani and Talene Kanian.

🎪 Clifton’s Republic has announced their plans to re-open after a temporarily closure due to a plumbing issue. The classic nightlife playground is now running a show called Illustrium through June, and is expected to be back to bar and restaurant service later this summer.

🎭 Hollywood Fringe Festival returns for its 14th year with nearly 400 live shows throughout the city. Attendees can buy tickets for the various performances featuring plays, musicals, comedy, immersive theater and more.

🐱 Tail Town Cat Café in Pasadena will be putting on the Summer Carnival of Cats on June 1st for guests to interact with rescue cats and enjoy a day of summer fun.

🍫 LA-based chocolate brand Valerie’s Confections has special Father’s Day offerings available to purchase for chocolate-loving dads. Visit their café in Echo Park or their boutique in Glendale.

👨‍🍳 FX’s hit show The Bear will be joining with Stella Artois for the Let’s Do Dinner Summer Series in Los Angeles on June 20th. Fans can enter to win access to the foodie-friendly event.

🥃 On June 16th, KA’TEEN in Hollywood will be offering complimentary tequila and mezcal shots to dads arriving for Father’s Day dinner.

🥩 The Father’s Day menu at West Hollywood’s Ardor will include an added special “The Kings Feast,” which includes a complimentary drink for dad as well as a curated menu served family style for $200.

🍩 Holey Grail Donuts celebrates National Donut Day on June 7th with “Make Any Donut Holey.” With purchase of a donut, every customer receives a free Holey–their newly launched taro donut holes.

🌹 The 2nd annual “Rosé on Rose” Wine Fest will be taking place on June 8th featuring wine tastings, street vendors, entertainment, and more along Venice’s Rose Ave.

🍦 For the month of June, Salt & Straw ice cream will be partnering with microbrewers across the country to offer five Brewer’s Series flavors that incorporate porter, stout, lager, ale, and hazy IPA beers.

🏇 ENTER announces their new entertainment concept California Crown opening later this fall at Santa Anita Park. The experience will combine horse racing, live music, elevated suites and family-friendly activities.

🏳‍🌈 The Grove will be hosting a Pride Night event on June 13th to celebrate LA’s LGBTQIA+ community. The festivities will include a live DJ, drinks, food, and a lively game of bingo.

🦍 60out Escape Rooms and Legendary have launched a Godzilla vs. Kong escape room inspired by Legendary’s Monsterverse franchise, “Godzilla X Kong: The New Empire.”

🐕 Chrissy Teigen and John Legend‘s new pet company Kismet will be joining with Santa Monica canine social club DOG PPL for their Members Mingle mixer on the 29th.

📽 Cinespia announces the screening schedule for their return for its 23rd season presented by Amazon MGM Studios. They’ll be showing movies at LA State Historic Park, Hollywood Forever Cemetery, and for the first time ever, The Rose Bowl Stadium.

🥪 Vanderpump Rules cast members Ariana Madix and Katie Maloney open the much-anticipated sandwich shop Something About Her on May 22nd.

🍳 Chef Wes Avila‘s Yucatan-inspired restaurant KA’TEEN launches their new brunch menu on May 4th. Each weekend guests can taste specialty dishes and enjoy live music and DJ performances through the spring and summer months.

🧜‍♀️ The Restaurant at The Georgian in Santa Monica rebrands as Sirena–a new, all-day concept led by Chef David Almany.

🎂 On May 13th, Salt & Straw brings ice cream cake to their menu permanently. The $79 confection called The Cake is inspired by one of their most popular flavors, Birthday Cake and Blackberries.

🍸 Beverly Bar launches a Martini Monday special with 8 different variations of the classic cocktail. Guests can stop in all day to sip the $12 drink menu, as well as dish on happy hour bites from 2pm-6pm.

🥤 Jamba has released two new limited-edition watermelon smoothies: Watermelon Lemonade and Watermelon Tajin. The new flavors are available May 14th through September 9th.

🥐 MOJO Café grab-and-go dining opens at Marina del Rey Hotel with a menu of breakfast, lunch, coffee, and snacks available from 6am-1pm.

🍨 Hotel Casa del Mar and Sweet Rose Creamery will be collaborating with a pop-up ice cream cart at Patio del Mar on Fridays and Sundays from 12:30pm-7pm. The beachside experience opens on May 24th and runs through the end of the summer.
